Osama Qaqi
MD, FACC,
FSCAI
Dr. Qaqi is a board-certified
Interventional Cardiologist. He
completed his training at the Detroit
Medical Center Heart Hospital,
where he saw and treated some of the
most complex and high-risk patients
in the country. He is also trained and
efficient in the newest technology
available to treat arterial disease. He
received his Doctor of Medicine at
the Medical University of the
Americas, St Kitts & Nevis.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr.
Qaqi believes in the critical
uniqueness of each individual patient
that he sees. He strives to provide the
best care for a shorter recovery
time. He specializes in minimally
invasive procedures that rely on
catheters and small incisions
instead of traditional surgery. These
procedures include balloon
angioplasty to open blocked arteries,
implantation of coronary stents to
hold open previously blocked arteries
and cardiac catheterization.
